IMMANUEL KANT: SOBRE AS "FONTES DA METAFÍSICA" E A "DIALÉTICA DA RAZÃO PURA"

 Acrescentando, para possível leitura futura; assim que me for possível acesso a tal texto; por enquanto, já li a resenha que acrescentei ao final:

"Na Crítica da Razão Pura, Kant critica a metafísica tradicional e suas provas de imortalidade, livre arbítrio e existência de Deus. O que geralmente é esquecido é que Kant também explica porque os seres racionais devem fazer perguntas metafísicas sobre objetos "incondicionados", como almas, incausadas ou Deus, e por que as respostas a essas perguntas parecerão racionalmente convincentes para eles. Neste livro, Marcus Willaschek reconstrói e defende o relato de Kant das fontes racionais da metafísica. Depois de explicar cuidadosamente as concepções de razão e metafísica de Kant, ele oferece interpretações detalhadas das passagens relevantes da Crítica da razão pura (em particular, a 'Dialética Transcendental'), na qual Kant explica porque a razão busca 'o incondicionado'. Willaschek oferece uma nova interpretação da Dialética Transcendental, apontando seu lado "positivo", ao mesmo tempo em que descobre um relato altamente original do pensamento metafísico que será relevante para os debates filosóficos contemporâneos.

“In the Critique of Pure Reason, Kant famously criticizes traditional metaphysics and its proofs of immortality, free will and God's existence. What is often overlooked is that Kant also explains why rational beings must ask metaphysical questions about 'unconditioned' objects such as souls, uncaused causes or God, and why answers to these questions will appear rationally compelling to them. In this book, Marcus Willaschek reconstructs and defends Kant's account of the rational sources of metaphysics. After carefully explaining Kant's conceptions of reason and metaphysics, he offers detailed interpretations of the relevant passages from the Critique of Pure Reason (in particular, the 'Transcendental Dialectic') in which Kant explains why reason seeks 'the unconditioned'. Willaschek offers a novel interpretation of the Transcendental Dialectic, pointing up its 'positive' side, while at the same time it uncovers a highly original account of metaphysical thinking that will be relevant to contemporary philosophical debates.”
